The Flats Restaurant & Tavern

Heard of this place from a friend who lives locally. Place just opened up and we decide to give it a try. The outdoor seating was already filled and there was about a 45 minute wait. We decided to sit at one of the high tops next to the bar. Service was very quick and the waitress was friendly and very knowledgeable. Order our drinks and then our meal. It took about 20 minutes from the time we ordered until we received our meal. Everything was cooked as we ordered it and the food was good. Was very loud in there and hard to have a conversation at the table. Will go back again and try something different 3 people with a tip was $75.00

Great new local spot! All of the food that we got was delicious! The ambiance and service were great. The manager even came to check how our meal was. Pictured below is the buffalo chicken salad, the Rexford burger, afterburner wings, empanadas and broccoli cheddar soup. All were great!

The Flats is the most welcomed new addition to the neighborhood! Not only is the restaurant beautiful inside and out (so sleek and modern!) but the food keeps us coming back. With nightly specials for both appetizers and main entrees, there's always something new in addition to the standard menu. Some of my favorites include the fried green tomatoes (some of the best I've ever had) the homemade black bean burger, and the braised shirt rib smothered fries. Brunch just started on Sunday's and it's equally as tasty. I highly recommend the breakfast nachos and the homemade biscuits and gravy! Food and ambiance aside, the staff is incredible and makes you feel like you've stepped into your own personal 'Cheers'! We will be regulars here for sure!

If I'm ever in prison and offered a last meal, it will be enough Smothered Fries to stop my heart, and it will be totally worth it. If they run out of fries, I will happily substitute the incredible Reuben sandwich and die happy. The meal my wife and I had was fantastic, and we can't wait to go back!

We had a great dinner on the patio at the flats!! Service was awesome. The owner came to check on us numerous times. Our food was delicious!! We will definitely be back. Patio ambiance was perfect and everyone seemed to be having a great time!! Wonderful summer evening. Thank you!!
